Waldemar Ast, age 88 of East Dundee, Illinois passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2020.

He was born on October 14th, 1931 and is the son of the late Oskar Ferdinand Ast and Wanda (Grzybowinska) Ast. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Wladyslawa Eva (Salwin) Ast and his sons Andreas, Peter (Elizabeth), John (Leslie), daughter Christine and grandson Tim.

            Waldemar was spiritual and always active building and creating things with an artistic flare.

His lifelong passion was painting portraits on paper and canvas. His witty humor always made everyone laugh.
