Thomas M. McLaughlin

Thomas Michael McLaughlin, age 64 of Cary, passed away suddenly on July 4, 2023. He was born March 28, 1959 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of Bill and Patricia McLaughlin who precede him in death as well as his sister, Mary-Pat Koller.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Kathie, of 28 years, his daughter Katelyn, his brother Bill McLaughlin (Sharon), his sister, Kathy McLaughlin (Rick), as well as many nieces and nephews (Jenna (Sameer), Scott, Julie (Kyle), Patrick (Lindsey), Terry (Ann), and Dan,Carla (John), Michael (Sara), Michael (Ryoko), Christy, Nikki (Wayne) and D.J.
Tom was a Senior Supplier Development Engineer for Quest Global/ Collins Aerospace, and his favorite part of the job was helping businesses troubleshoot their technical challenges. He was a soccer superfan and would wake up extra early to watch matches from all around the world. His other sports love was the Green Bay Packers and he made a point to talk smack to Bears and Vikings fans any chance he got.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends..
