Thomas Francis Kane, age 92, of Cary, IL, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at his home, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born May 18, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Agnes (née Basty) Kane. He was married to June (née Bloom) Kane for nearly 50 years, before her passing on December 20, 2005.
Tom was a salesman in the printing industry for many years in the Chicagoland area. He was member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, where he was an usher for many years. He enjoyed camping in his motorhome, traveling to Europe, and boating on the Fox River. A special thank you to his caregiver, Peter Raymundo, and family.
Survivors include three children, Karolyn Kane, Timothy Kane, and Cynthia (John McKinley) Kane; two grandchildren, Liam and Kylie McKinley; twin brother, Jerry Kane; and sister, Patsy Brandlin Hathcoat. He was preceded in death by his wife; and sister, Rita Ream.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until funeral mass at 11:00am, Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 N. First Street, Cary, IL 60013. Rev. Keith Romke will be officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary, IL 60013.
