Theodore S. Warren

Theodore (Ted) Stanley Warren, of Lake Barrington, passed away of natural causes on May 2, 2020 at the age of 91 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.  Ted was born on January 16, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Anthony Wawrylski and Hattie Wawrlyski (nee Machniak).  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Ted married the love of his life, Jean Pellicane, on February 20, 1960.   Ted and Jean were devoted Catholics and raised their family in Morton Grove and Palatine, then retired for 14 years in Spring Hill, Florida. He was the loving father of four children: Therese Warren, of Huntley, IL, Patricia Warren, of Chicago, IL, Karen (Matthew) McElman of Cary, IL, and John (Amy) Warren of O’Fallon, IL, and cherished grandchildren Mitchell McElman, Kimberly McElman, Jacob (Cori) Warren, and Matthew Warren.  Ted was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Irene (Chester) Bycek, Jeanette (Henry) Wisniewski, and Casey (Bernice) Warren.  Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, memorial services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, a gift may be made to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in memorial of Theodore Warren.
