Susan Kyle Sawicki, 61, of Fox Lake, passed away on October 20, 2022 due to complications of diabetes.  Susan is preceded in death by her mother Joan Sawicki (nee Kalivoda), father Don Ben Sawicki, sister Denise Sawicki, and sister Marylou Sawicki.

She is survived by her brothers Christopher (Lorraine) M. Sawicki, Andrew (Diane) D. Sawicki, and James D. Sawicki, as well as her niece Allison, and her nephews Travis, William, and Christopher.

After many years as a police dispatcher in the Lake County area, Susan retired to northern California. Sue enjoyed reading, writing, and learning about nature, especially plants and insects.  She spent great time and attention throughout her life taking care of her family members in their time of need.  We will remember Sue for her sharp wit, her independence, and her optimism.

There will be a memorial visitation for Susan on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary, Il.
