Rosellyn "Rosie" (Myers) Gilfether

Rosellyn “Rosie” Gilfether, age 76, of Cary, died December 11, 2021 at home after a 6 month battle with brain cancer.  She was born December 29, 1944 in Chicago, the only child of Rose (Brown) and Cecil Myers, who both predecease her.

Rosie is survived by her husband of 50 years Steve Gilfether, her only child Erika (Nadir), her two grandchildren, Seamus and Samina, a lifetime’s worth of dear friends, and the many people whose spiritual lives she touched as the Pastoral Associate at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Cary for 28 years.

There will be a memorial visitation for Rosie on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. The funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 18th at 10:30 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Cary, IL.  Visit kahlemoore.com to express condolences.
