Richard J. Simon, age 76 of Mundelein passed away December 20, 2022 at his home.  He was born April 13, 1946 in Oakland, CA. the son of Mearl and Mildred (Lane) Simon.

       Richard is survived by his wife Marja L. (Weseman) Simon, his sister Nancy (Budd) Hines, his nephews Ed (Jenny) Hines, David Hines, Danny (Haydee) Hines and niece Lynn (Tracy) Holt.  Besides his parents Richard is preceded in death by an infant  brother Thomas Simon and a nephew Wade Holt.

       There will be a visitation for Richard on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, this will be followed with interment at Windridge Memorial Park where military honors will be accorded.

       In lieu of flowers, memorials in Richard’s name would be appreciated to: Pioneer Center in McHenry or the Lake County Forest Preserve Foundation.
