Richard Williams Obituary

Richard “Dick” Williams, age 86 of Huntley formerly of Mount Prospect, passed away December 24, 2021. He was born February 1, 1935 in Chicago, the son of Francis and Margaret Williams.

Dick is survived by his children: Robert (Rhonda) Williams, Randall (Cathy) Williams and Betsy Buterbaugh, his grandchildren: Patrick Williams, Alec Buterbaugh and Mary Buterbaugh. Besides his parents Dick is preceded in death by his wife Kristin (Olson) Williams and his siblings: Donald Williams, Lawrence Williams and Janice Watroba.

Dick was a Retail Store and District Manager for F.W. Woolworth Co. for 45 years and final five years he worked for True Value Hardware Co. He volunteered his time at Glenbrook Hospital, in Glenview and upon moving to Huntley volunteered at Northwestern Hospital- Huntley. Upon retirement Dick and Kristin enjoyed family, friends, traveling as well as their summer vacation home in Hayward, Wi.
