Renee Ann (Garbi) Lilly

Renee Ann Lilly, age 92, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Cary, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William Lilly, loving and devoted mother of 7 children, Renee is survived by her children: Jeffrey Lilly (Julie), Daniel Lilly (Karla), Christopher Lilly (Desiree), Dr. Carol Lilly, Timothy Lilly, Michael Lilly, and her sister, Linda Garbi McAuliffe.   She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Renee was the Mother of the late James Lilly and the Sister of the late Anthony Garbi. A native of Elmhurst, Illinois, and a long-time resident of Cary, Illinois, Renee devoted her life to raising her seven children and enjoying her grandchildren. She loved flowers and gardening; and spent her later years traveling, volunteering for the church and local homeless shelter, as well as providing care for young children in pre-school.  Renee will be deeply missed and remembered with love by her family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the visitation, which will be Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road, Cary. Funeral services will be held the following day at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with private interment at the Windridge Cemetery, Cary, Illinois.
