Paula Zajac, age 75, of Pingree Grove, IL passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 in her home. By her side was her loving husband of 53 years, Daniel Zajac. Paula was born November 8, 1947, in Chicago, IL to Ann and Paul Kusenko.

Paula is survived by her children: Mark Zajac, Kelly (Steve) Koven, Laurie (Eric) Penkava, Gregory (Nicole) Zajac. Paula’s pride and joy were her eight grandchildren, Logan, Daniel, Reese, Ryan, Cassidy, Alex, Lucas and Ava.

Paula was a dedicated Mother and Nana. She loved spending time with her family, volunteering at the animal shelter, sewing, crafting, cooking and road trips with her husband. Her love will be deeply missed by her family.

There will be a visitation for Paula on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Cary.  Funeral Mass for Paula will be offered on Friday December 9th at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Cary.
