Otto Martin Frischolz Obituary

Otto Martin Frischolz, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 85.

Born on July 31, 1938, in Chicago, IL, Otto had a successful career as a Sheet Metal Journeyman and retired after many years of hard work. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests over the years, including nurturing his gardens and fruit trees, photography, hunting, and fishing. Otto was an automotive enthusiast who restored several cars in his time. He also loved trains and had created multiple model trainscapes.

Otto is survived by his wife, Patricia Frischolz (née Walsh), and their children: Martin (Laura) Frischolz, Michael (Kathy) Frischolz, Therese Marzouk, and Katherine Novak (Greg Schliefert).

He is also survived by his grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy: Jessica, Michael, Kristin, Noah, Zoe, Seth, Lila, and Alexander.

Otto is also survived by his sister, Claire Ann (Philip) Bickford, with whom he shared a special bond.

Otto was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Claire Frischolz, his sister, Gail Frischolz, and his son-in-law, Ramsey Marzouk. Their memories held a special place in Otto's heart.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Otto's name. Otto deeply appreciated the mission and works of St. Jude's, and supporting this cause would be a meaningful way to honor his memory. (Donations can be made online at www.stjude.org.)

Otto Frischolz will be missed by family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
