Nancy E. (Howes) Wendt

Nancy Ellen Wendt peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on March 26,2020 in Cary, IL. She was born in her home in Palatine, IL. to her parents George and Emma Mae Howes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and oldest daughter Susan Carbone.

She is survived by her loving children Linda Randle, Cindy Reese, Sam Stone, and Robert Wendt Jr.  She also is survived by her 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

At the age of 87 Nancy lived to be the oldest in her family’s history.

Nancy worked many years at Jewel and G.E. while she raised her five children in Fox River Grove, IL.

She was a longtime member of the Methodist Church.

During Nancy’s lifetime she faced many obstacles and adversities. However, This did not deter her from having a wonderful life.

Nancy was a kind woman that loved strong and never gave up. She gave her heart to many  and would help anyone in need if she could.

Nancy will always be remembered and loved in our hearts so the we will carry on her strength, courage, grace, and love to the next generations.

Memorials in Nancy’s name would be appreciated to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, the Salvation Army or Wounded Warriors Project.
