Mark Leroy Wondriska, age 52, of Marengo, IL, was born January 8, 1974 in Elgin, IL, and passed away suddenly on May 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and stories that will be remembered.
Known for being the life of every party, Mark had a gift for making people laugh. His quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and signature sarcasm kept everyone on their toes and guaranteed there was never a dull moment when he was around.
Mark approached life on his own terms and was never meant to be confined to just one path. He was someone who valued experiences, people, and living in the moment more than titles or routines. He also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed the energy and excitement of working in the fast-paced environment such as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in Chicago.
Above all, he was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Though his passing leaves an enormous void, his laughter and stories will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his father, Mickey; his beloved children, Max and Skylar; his sister, Stacey; and many extended family members and friends who will continue to carry his memory with them.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, with funeral service at 4:00pm, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road, Cary, IL 60013. Pastor Glen Morden will be officiating.
Interment will be private.
