Mark Matthew Haber, passed away peacefully from natural causes on January 30, 2025, at his home in Woodstock, IL, on the same date he was born in 1961 in McHenry, IL. Mark was the cherished son of Kenneth and Delores Haber and the loyal brother to Michael Haber. Growing up in Cary IL Mark's early life was filled with the joys of nature he loved animals and raised golden pheasants and ducks he rescued from areas along the fox river. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, boating and swimming in the family pool. Mark had an uncanny ability to fix things that he may have broken. Mark's sense of adventures and antics could lighten the mood and bring a smile to everyone's face. His presence was a comforting reminder to not take life too seriously. He lived at Sheltered Village in Woodstock and spent most of his adult life there. The family would pick him up and bring him home for frequent visits on weekends and holidays. As we bid farewell to Mark, we remember a man who overcame struggles of everyday life and was a testament to enduring strength of the human spirit. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He is survived by his mother Delores Haber, brother Michael Haber and his wife Bonnie Miske Haber. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
