Mark Graczyk Obituary

 

       Mark G. Graczyk, age 66, of Fox River Grove passed away September 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

       Mark was born July 9, 1955 in Chicago, the son of Andrew and Bertha Graczyk.  He was the loving brother of five sisters and a brother.  His family settled in Arlington Heights in 1954.  Raised Catholic he attended parochial schools and graduated from St. Viator High School in 1973.  After high School Mark had a variety of jobs before beginning his plumber apprenticeship with his brother-in-law Bill and partner Homer.  Mark was hired by Norman Mechanical in 1992 and remained there until his retirement in 2017. He enjoyed fast cars, especially his 1970 Chevelle and his boat.

       Mark is survived by his wife Elsie, his son Andrew, his step-sons Ryan (Kristen) Coffey and Adam (Jen) Coffey, his four grandchildren: Kendall, Norman, Grace and Michael, his siblings:  Michael (Stevie) Graczyk, Christine (Bob) Toniny, Andrea Schepp, Pam (Jim) Lingert and Beth (John) Rawski as well as brother-in-law Bill Johann and countless nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Karol Johann.

       Services for Mark will be private for the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Ass.  Visit kahlemoore.com to express condolences.
