Margaret A. Kay

Margaret Ann Kay nee Watterson, age 85, passed away on December 12, 2021 at Melody Assisted Living, Lake In The Hills, Il.  She was born May 5th, 1936, in Homedale, Idaho, to Joe and Irene Watterson, one of seven siblings.  She is predeceased by her wonderful husband, Robert Kay.

Margaret is survived by her children: Victor (Marianne), Tina (Ken) and Stephanie (Brian), her grandchildren: Matthew, Kencie, Gabri, Caitlin, Genevieve, Spencer, Nicholas and Linus, and her four great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings Theresa, Louise, Fred, Glenda, Susie, and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret worked hard to provide for her family all her life.  In her later years she loved gardening, quilting and decorating her home.  She never saw a wall she didn’t want to paint. She loved her grand-babies, and sitting on her porch in the sun for a good chin wag.  She was a strong and lovely lady, and graced us with her laugh.

There will be no services.  Donations can be made in Margaret’s name to Habitat For Humanity.
