They have three children: Patrick (Jennifer) Eriksen; Lisa (Brian) Kobeluch; and Sean (Kimberly) Eriksen.

They are also blessed with six grandchildren: Nicholas and Ava Eriksen; Amy and Adam Kobeluch; and Andrew and Grace Eriksen.

Kevin's career began on Wall Street and then they moved to Illinois where he received employment at Motorola Inc, where he worked for 40 plus years.

During those 40 plus years, Kevin was also a firefighter/EMT for 34 years at the Cary Fire Department.  He tested and worked his way up the ranks to Captain, where he was well respected and a mentor to many on the department.

Kevin was a good man and a man of God. He was generous and kind to others and a loyal friend and loving family man.
