June Muska of Cary passed away at her home surrounded by her family on June 28, 2021 at the age of 85.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Violet Buelow and her husband Stan Muska.   June will be missed by her blended family of Laurie (Joe) Charles, Nancy (Bill) Rochford, Bob (Stacy Taylor) Dhaens, Phil (Laura) Muska and Holly (Randy) Voss and her grandchildren Rebecca, Beth (Todd Stull), Jackie and Michael Charles, Sean and Dana Rochford, Alec (Sydney Potebnya) Wagner, Cecily (Nick) Exner, Melissa Muska, Jennifer Voss, and her 8 great grandchildren.

June had lovely memories of spending childhood summers with her beloved aunt, Junnett Carlson on the Fox River in Algonquin.  She went to Chicago Teacher’s College and enjoyed raising her kids and spending time with family and friends.  Through the years she worked part time as a receptionist, preschool teacher at Cary Country Preschool and aide at Holy Cross Preschool and as a page at the Cary Area Public Library.  June was a devout Christian and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for 63 years.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3 at 9:30 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cary.  Interment to follow at Windridge Cemetery.  Donations may be made in June’s memory to either Holy Cross Lutheran Church or JourneyCare Hospice of Barrington.
