June (Mackey) Kleinhans

June Kleinhans, our dear sweet mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to her heavenly home on March 21, 2022.  June, age 95, formerly of Cary was born February 4, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Alexander) Mackey.

       She married Paul T. Kleinhans on June 21, 1947 in Cleveland and together they had seven children.  June is survived by her children:  Linda (Norman) Hoffman, Laurie (Jonathan) Riddle, Richard (Vicki) Kleinhans, Jody (Scott) Kearney, Randy (Melanie) Kleinhans and Robert (Kim) Kleinhans. She is also survived by 17 adoring grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.  Besides her husband Paul, June is preceded in death by her son Dane Kleinhans.

       June was very outgoing, a friendly woman who was always concerned for others.  She loved watching her family compete in sports and was their biggest cheerleader.  She loved shopping, the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears but it was her family that made her the happiest.  You won, mom!

       There will be a visitation for June on Friday, March 25, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary, burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers memorials in June’s name would be appreciated to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.  Visit kahlemoore.com to express condolences.
