Julietta Moldenhauer (nee Miller), age 99 of Mt. Prospect passed away peacefully on December 8th 2020. Julie was born December 3rd, 1921 in Chicago. A resident of Mt. Prospect for 68 years, she earned an Associate’s Degree and worked as an administrative assistant in the health care industry after working in a bomber factory at Orchard Field (O’Hare) during the war. A church organist for 35 years, after retirement she continued to volunteer in her church and community.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Alfred H. Moldenhauer. She is survived by her children Melody Stanko (Philip), and George Moldenhauer (Sally), her grandchildren, Eric Moldenhauer, Ashley Moldenhauer (Trent) and Laurel Stanko, 2 great grandchildren Ethan and Olivia and her niece Marilyn Gosell (Lars) and nephew William Moldenhauer.
Julie’s family would like to thank all of their friends and family for the thoughts & prayers that they have shared. Donations can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Mt. Prospect, PADS Program or Meals on Wheels. A celebration of her life will be held sometime next summer.
