Joseph William Yereb Obituary

 

                                 Joseph William Yereb, 83, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024, under hospice care at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. He was born on April 1, 1941, to Joseph H. Yereb and Lena K. Peck-Yereb.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Diana Yereb; his son Paul Yereb (Kay), and his daughter Lynne Harkin (Jeremy).   He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children and grandchildren Trey, Ryan, Cole, and Will. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. Yereb and Lena K. Peck-Yereb.
Joe graduated from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed a fulfilling career working in the metals sales industry for various companies and he also served honorably in the National Guard.
An avid White Sox fan, Joe loved fishing, golfing and cherished spending time with his colleagues and dear friends.  When he wasn’t watching the Sox, he enjoyed woodworking and building a variety of different items like toy boxes, home decorations and furniture.  His good-natured and outgoing personality and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. http://act.alz.org/goto/JoeYereb  
A wake to honor his life will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home in Cary, IL, on Tuesday, May 28th. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, May 29th, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cary, IL at 10:30am.  
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association to help with research and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.  http://act.alz.org/goto/JoeYereb
