Joseph G. Cerny, age 94, of Crystal Lake passed away May 26, 2024.  He was born June 19, 1929 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Agnes Cerny.
        Joseph is survived by his children: Valerie (the late James) Phillips and Joseph G. Cerny, Jr., his grandchildren:  Lisa (Michael) Walker, James Phillips, Jr., Joseph (Alicia) Cerny, III and William Wieczorek, his Great Grandchildren:  Rylee, Bodee, Joseph and Memphis.  Joseph is preceded in death by his wife Deloris (nee Mazurka) Cerny, his son William (Linda) Wieczorek and his brother Richard T. Cerny
       Joseph was a proud member of the International  Association of Machinists Local 50.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He later became a bingo enthusiast.
      There will be a visitation for Joseph on Saturday, June 1, 2024 beginning at 9:00 AM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Cary.  This will be followed by burial at Windridge Memorial Park.
