John “Jack” G. Lamszus, age 76 of Cary, formerly of Round Lake and Palatine, passed away September 12, 2021.  He was born June 14, 1945 in Chicago, the son of William and Edith Lamszus.

       Jack is survived by his sisters:  Jane (Michael) Brennan and Linda (Michael) Faust.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers:  Richard Lamszus and William Lamszus.

       Jack graduated from Round Lake High School and followed that with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign.  He served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War, he then started a career with the Ill. Dept. of Transportation which lasted 35 years.
