John Gaspardo, 28, of Oakwood Hills, IL was born on October 4, 1992 and died at home on February 11, 2021. John was a lover of dogs, an avid outdoorsman, a computer whiz, and a financial entrepreneur.  He is survived by his parents Gerald (Jerry) and Laura (nee Nemeth) Gaspardo; his two dogs, Bailey and Bandit; his Aunt and Uncle, Vern and Cherie (nee Nemeth) Jones; and his cousins Nicole, Emily, and Melissa Jones. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernadette (Mugger) and Nicholas (Papa) Nemeth; his paternal grandparents, Anita (Grandma) and Marcel (Pampa) Lorenz; his Grandpa John Gaspardo; and his two Golden Retrievers, Travis and Shadow.  A celebration of life will be held in summer, and his final resting place will be in Michigan. He's in "Kokomo" now. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either Good as Gold (the Golden Retriever Rescue organization), to the National Parks Conservation Association, or the Arbor Day Foundation where a tree can be planted in his memory.
