Joanne Rick Obituary

Joanne M. Rick, age 77 of Fox River Grove passed away December 14, 2017 at her home. She was born February 23, 1940 in Elgin, the daughter of James and Bessie Klouda. Joanne is survived by her daughters: Karen Rick and Kristie (Rick) Marsala and her granddaughter Katelyn Marsala. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Rick. Joanne was a lifelong resident of Fox River Grove, she graduated in 1963 from Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse for many years at Cary Grove Medical Ass. in Cary, she also volunteered at Head Start and Home of the Sparrow Thrift Shop. Services will be private for the family with burial at Windridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Salvation Army.
