Jerry Franklin Pearson

He was born on February 25, 1934, in Hammond, Indiana to Daniel Pearson and Josephine Pearson (Wedberg). He was married to Marilyn Pearson (Swanson) on June 12, 1954. Jerry was the father of five children, Linnea Axman of Clarkdale, Arizona, Carolyn De Conte of Greenview, Illinois, Stephen Pearson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jeffrey Pearson of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Jennifer Cotsiopoulos (James) of Oakwood Hills, Illinois. He is survived by eight grandchildren; Adam (Laura), Rachel (Joel),Bonnie, Claire (Nick), William, Christian, Marian and Simone. He was a graduate of Bowen High School in Chicago, Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and The University of Chicago. Jerry cherished his years of higher education and loved to reminisce about them. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his two sisters, and two nephews as well as many aunts and uncles. There will be a visitation for Jerry on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 8901 Cary-Algonquin Rd, Cary beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM which will be followed by a meal in the church fellowship hall.
