Jennie S. (Lewandowski) Harrison

       Jennie S. Harrison, age 101, of Cary passed away April 11, 2022 at her home.  She was born December 23, 1920 in Chicago, the daughter of Casmier and Lottie Lewandowski.

       Jennie is survived by her children:  Geri (Richard) Rosner and Chester (Wendy Brazes) Harrison, her grandchildren:  Debbie (Fred) Braun, Timothy Harrison and Tricia (Kevin) Kelleher, her great grandchildren:  Taylor and Joshua Braun.  Jennie is preceded in death by her husband Chester P. Harrison as well as four brothers and three sisters.

       Jennie served her country in WWII as a corporal in the Army-Air Corp.  She was an avid bingo player and attended the VFW bingo hall every Sunday and Wednesday in McHenry.

        There will be a visitation for Jennie on Friday April 15, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 1:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary and will be followed by interment at Windridge Memorial Park where military honors will be accorded.  Memorials in Jennie’s name to a charity of one’s choice.  Visit kahlemoore.com to express condolences.
