Jane Ellen Moore, age 73, of Cary, IL, passed away on December 7, 2025 at Good Shepherd Hospital. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Burlington, WI, the daughter of Robert and Ethel (née Ketterhagen) Robers, who preceded her in death.

Jane and her husband, Steven T. Moore, were united in marriage on October 6, 1973, in Twin Lakes, WI. Together they raised two children. She was co-owner, along with her husband, of the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, where they served the communities of Cary and Fox River Grove for 47 years. She and her family enjoyed what they called their home away from home on Powers Lake, where so many happy summer memories were created.

Jane is survived by her husband, Steven T. Moore; her children, Erin Moore and Robert (Erin) Moore; and her precious granddaughter, Jade. She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Robers and Thomas (Kathy) Robers; her brother’s and sister’s-in-law, Kathy (Tab) Gehrke, Tim (Kim) Moore, Dan (Glenda) Moore, and Mary Jane (Joe) Keating; her mother-in-law, Marilyn Moore and the late John Moore and Raymond Moore; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road, Cary, IL 60013.

Mass will be at 10:30am, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 North First Street, Cary, IL 60013.

She will be privately interred at St. John Cemetery, Twin Lakes, WI.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jane’s name to the Cary-Grove Food Pantry would be appreciated.
