Grace Swager, age 96 of Crystal lake formerly of Cary passed away March 28, 2017 at her homeShe was born December 26, 1920 in Chicago, the daughter of Einar L. and Grace M. OlsenGrace married her husband Keith on March 26, 1943 and were married 63 years upon his death on July 6, 2006.She is survived by her children: Susan (the late Norman) Cieloha, Larry Swager and Douglas (Jeanne) Swager, her grandchildren: Shara Swager, Michael Swager, Melanie (Fianc'e Larry Lewis III), a sister Leona (the late Joseph) Fish as well as many nieces and nephews.Besides her husband Grace is preceded in death by her siblings: Lawrence Heppner, Agnes (the late Ted) Frankenhauser, Eleanor Heppner, Bernice (the late Rudy) Weth and LeNore (the late Len) Shepardson.Grace was a devoted daughter, a deeply loving and caring mother-in-law, and grandmother, a loyal and supportive sister, and cherished aunt. She will be greatly missed and always remembered. Grace was affectionately known as "Cat Mama" always a welcome lap to Champ, Fritz, Pumpkin, Mittsy, Dorian, Rusty and Rascal who are all eagerly awaiting her at the Rainbow Bridge.Grace's family will be forever grateful for the excellent and compassionate care she received from Centegra Home Health Care and JourneyCare during her final two months. We would also like to express our thanks to our friend, John Cannon, for bringing the Eucharist to mom every Tuesday morning for the past couple of years.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2016 from 4:00 until 80 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral home, 403 Silver Lake Rd. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 1st at 12:00 Noon at SS.
