Frank James Steckelberg, age 77 of Cary passed away peacefully December 23, 2024. He was born August 19, 1947, to Frank Otto and Mildred Ruth (Ritt) Steckelberg.
       Frank is survived by his daughter Jodi (Tori) Carpenter of Cary and brother Robert Steckelberg of Hancock, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
      Frank was a very active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He served in the United States Navy, Seabees, from 1970 to 1972. Then joined the Navy Reserves from 1972 until 1976. He was also a licensed Plumber and and had owned his own business for many years. 
      There will be a visitation for Frank on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2107 Three Oaks Rd. Cary, beginning at 9:00 AM and concluding with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will be held after services. Memorials would be appreciated to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
