Elroy Patrick Fitzgerald, Jr.

       Elroy Patrick Fitzgerald, Jr., age 65 of McHenry passed away September 5, 2021 at his home.  He was born June 26, 1956 in Elgin, IL., the son of Elroy Patrick Fitzgerald, Sr., and Rose Mary Puccinelli, they precede him in death.

       Elroy is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann (Eden) Fitzgerald, his children: Eric James (Katherine) Fitzgerald, Nicole Elizabeth Fitzgerald and Megan Katherine Fitzgerald, his grandchildren: Charles, Adeline, Brooklyn, Bentley, Dayton, Xavier, Abel and Maverick, his siblings:  Debra (Edward) Lechner, Linda Sanfilippo, Theresa (Richard) Miller, Michelle Scannell and Jason (Carrie) Wilbrandt as well as many nieces and nephews.

       Elroy served in the marines, he worked for MacGyver Development Company and was former Vice-President of the Men’s Auxiliary for the McHenry VFW.

       Visitation for Elroy will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.  Funeral Service will be private for the family on Saturday and will be followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mchenry where military honors will be accorded.  Memorials would be appreciated to the Elroy Fitzgerald Memorial Fund.  Visit kahlemoore.com to express condolences.
