Earl A. Sund, Sr., age 75 of Union, formerly of Cary, passed away March 7, 2021. He was born December 10, 1945 in Elmhurst, IL., the son of Earl and Shirley Sund.

Earl is survived by his wife Deborah (Neel) Sund, his children: Angela (Todd) Guibord, Earl (Beth) Sund, Jr., Scot (Julie) Sund and Joann (Jeff) Wolski, his grandchildren: Andrew Guibord, Matthew Guibord, Matllyn Sund, Ethan Sund, Kenny Sund, Hannah Sund, Theo Sund, Shelby Wolski, Jeff Wolski and Colton Wolski as well as his siblings: Tom Sund, Carol Lee (Jerry) Block Debra (Steve) Holmes. Besides his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his son Eric “Ricky” Sund.

Earl served his country during the Vietnam War, he was devoted to his family but found time to enjoy fishing and raising chickens.

Due to Covid pandemic services will be private for the family. Earl will be laid to rest at Windridge Memorial Park with military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Earl’s name would be appreciated to the Wounded Warriors Project.
