Born on September 14, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Harold and Ann Noble, Doris's life was a testament to the power of optimism and the strength of the human spirit. She died of natural causes in South Elgin, Illinois, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love.


A proud graduate of Fenger High School, Doris carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life, weaving them into her daily interactions with those she met. Her educational foundation laid the groundwork for a remarkable career that spanned over three decades. Doris dedicated 25 years of her professional life to Dairy Farms in Monee, Illinois, where her kindness made her a beloved figure among both colleagues and customers. Following her tenure there, she spent 10 years as a meticulous bookkeeper at Tholens Nursery in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Doris's attention to detail and warm demeanor left an indelible mark on the business and in the hearts of her coworkers.


Those who knew Doris best would unhesitatingly describe her as a kind, loving, and optimistic individual. Her unwavering positivity was infectious, uplifting everyone around her. She had a rare gift for finding the silver lining in every cloud and encouraging others to do the same. Doris was a woman whose heart was as open as the sky, and whose capacity for love was as vast as the ocean.


Doris is survived by her devoted son, Brian Buchalo, and his wife Jenny, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons imparted by their remarkable mother. Her brother, Ronald Noble, his wife Leslie, and their two sons Jeffrey and Robert, will also hold dear the countless joyful moments shared with Doris. Her loving partner, Rick Stone, will miss her companionship and the light she brought into his life.


Doris's departure leaves behind a legacy of love and a blueprint for living life with grace and gratitude. Her family and friends will always remember the sound of her laughter, the comfort of her embrace, and the unwavering support she provided to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.


In her life, Doris was a pillar of her community, a dedicated worker, and a nurturing presence to her family. She leaves behind a world that is brighter for her having been in it, and a tapestry of lives that are richer for her touch.

There will be a visitation for Doris on March 22, 2025 beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
