Dolores Irene Gnech

Dolores Gnech, age 89 of Cary, passed away July 4, 2016 at JourneyCare in Barrington. She was born May 30, 1927 in Chicago, the daughter of Konstanty and Rose Dobies. Dolores is survived by her children: Holly (David) Lubs, Bill (Cindy) Gnech, Steve (Maryla) Gnech and Laura (Al) Tuman, her grandchildren: Nicole Benner, Alyssa Gnech, Katie Stottle, Krissy Kolkebeck, Nina Tuman and Neil Tuman and her care-giver and friend Sophie Gramacki. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gnech and sisters Connie Peters and Margaret Anderson. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Service at 7:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the family for the purpose of research for the blind which Dolores whole-heartedly supported and had to endure a great part of her life.
