Diane Celske Obituary

Diane M. (Grandma Di) Celske, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020 at the age of 80. She was born March 15, 1940 in Chicago and later earned a nursing certification at Augustana Hospital. Diane married her husband Anthony (Tony) in 1963, and they established their roots in Fox River Grove shortly thereafter, where they’ve been proud residents for more than 56 years. Diane loved family gatherings, gardening, and especially enjoyed baking goodies for her grandchildren. She was also a devoted and passionate member of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cary.

Diane is survived by her loving husband Tony, three children: Daniel (Cory) of Fox River Grove, Thomas of Twin Lakes, WI, and Liz (Jim) of St. Charles, IL, and six grandchildren: Ellen, Jack, Quinn, Ben, Jenna and Sam.

Diane’s family would like to thank all of their friends and family for the thoughts & prayers that they have shared. Due to the virus, the family will be holding a private memorial service and funeral. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diane’s name to a charity of the donor's choice.
