David Christopher Hill

David Christopher Hill, 55, of Salem Wisconsin, passed away at home on Monday November 14th.  David was born at Swedish Covent Hospital in Chicago, on September 5, 1967.    He was the son of Kenneth and Lorraine Hill.  He grew up living all around the Chicagoland area and graduated from Libertyville High School in 1985. He was a tradesman and worked as a painter and carpenter in the Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin area.  He was known for his attention to detail and dedication to his customers and friends.

David had many passions and a fierce quest for knowledge.  If he didn’t know something, he researched it until he could passionately give a class about it.  He recently started playing the guitar and was enjoying learning to play on all different types of guitars.  He loved his fantasy sports leagues, and all of his buddies he played with.  Dave also had a passion for cooking and was always up for trying new recipes and new ingredients.  David was a fiercely loyal friend and was always there for his friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Hill.  He is grieved by his mother, Lorraine Hill-Liautaud, his sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Richard Geiger, his nephews, Kenneth and Lucas Geiger, his uncles, Fred Hill and Vincent Gryb, and his many cousins, who filled his life on a daily basis with joy and laughter.  His step-family, the Liautaud’s, were also a constant source of fun in his life.
There will be a memorial visitation for David on Sunday, November 27, 2022 beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding with reflections at 5:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home in Cary, IL.
