Charlotte “Char” Louise (Vraney) Spacinsky was a caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed on March 19, 2022 at the age of 71.
 
Char was born to Inge and Lawrence Vraney on May 30, 1950. After high school she married and moved to Los Angeles, CA and later to Sharon, PA. In 1976, she returned to the Chicago area to raise her children and lived most of her life in Fox River Grove, Cary and Crystal Lake, IL. Char is survived by her mother, five brothers, two daughters and six grandchildren.

Char worked for the duration of her career as an executive administrative assistant at major insurance companies including Kemper Reinsurance and Allstate. She was dedicated to her work, loyal and friendly with her coworkers and was responsible for organizing numerous corporate events, fundraisers and gatherings over the years. For over 35 years she served on the Board of Directors of the Koch Foundation. In November 2021, Char retired and moved to Michigan, but unexpectedly passed away due to complications from heart failure and a brain injury. Her death was peaceful with her daughters at her side.

A memorial funeral service is scheduled for 10 am on May 28, 2022 at Saints Peter & Paul Church in Cary, IL.
