Carol J. Alfieri

Carol Jean Alfieri, of Lake Barrington, the daughter of the late Carl Ellis Peterson and Sara Linnea (Palmquist) Peterson of Igelforse Sweden was born on April 30, 1936 in Chicago. She passed away peacefully in to the arms of God on November 14, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Carol is survived by her devoted children, Peter (Joanne) Alfieri, Jean Marie (Josh Barbee) Alfieri and Anthony Alfieri, Jr., proud grandmother of Kyle Fleming and Collin Barbee. Carol was a proud graduate of Austin High School in Chicago; she went on to graduate from Illinois Masonic Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She was a registered nurse for 47 years, of which she was a nursing supervisor at Good Shepherd Hospital for 23 years. There will be a visitation for Carol on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd. , Cary. The Funeral will be held on Monday November 20th beginning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home and followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 410 First St., Cary, with burial at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to: Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 N.
