Carl V. Boni

Carl Vincent Boni, 82 of Crystal Lake Illinois passed away on June 12, 2023 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington Illinois surrounded by his family.

Carl was born to parents Carlo and Lucille (Overby)Boni, on March 27, 1941, in Chicago Illinois. His mother and father preceded him in death. 

Carl graduated from Wauconda High School where he met the love of his life, Marlowe Terry. Carl and Marlowe married on July 1, 1961. They started their life in Island Lake Illinois and then moved to Cary, Illinois to raise their 4 children, later residing in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Carl is survived by his wife Marlowe D. (nee Terry) Boni and his children: Carl (Patti) Boni, Susan (Dennis) Cook, Melissa (Joe) Christopherson and Nicole Greco as well as 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Carl was first and foremost a family man. He had the gift of gab and would make friends everywhere he went. This gift would also be beneficial through his career as a salesman in his early years working at Sun Drug. He achieved Top Salesman on several occasions. Carl then would open his own business in the Home Improvement Arena and worked hard to provide for his family for many years.

As most of us know he had a love of cars and was a car enthusiast. Carl enjoyed time on Marco Island in Florida with Marlowe where he enjoyed walking the beaches and became an avid fisherman. He had a special place in his heart for dogs. Although not the best decision, he would sneak whatever he was eating under the table to them and always spoiled them with love. 

The private memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. at The Kahle-Moore Funeral Home for Family and close friends.  The family requests that people make donations in support of mental illness/bipolar disorder, in lieu of sending flowers or can plant a tree in memory of Carl V. Boni.
