Betty Lou Watkins, age 81 of Cary passed away February 21, 2020 at her home.  She was born August 22, 1938 in Boone, N.C., the daughter of Walter C. and Hazel Miller.

       Betty is survived by her beloved children:  Donna (Chris) Teer and Bradley Jay (Rachelle) Watkins, her loving grandchildren:  Kendall Teer, Austin Teer, Peyton Teer, Savannah Watkins and Chase Watkins as well as her cherished great grandchildren:  Aaliyah Lansing, Paisley Lansing and Emmie Lansing.  She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby J. Watkins, a brother Walter C. Miller II and a sister Margaret Miller.      

       Betty was formerly treasurer at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church as well as a Stephen’s Leader.  She also volunteered for meals on wheels.

       There will be Services for Betty on February 25, 2020 at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 8901 Cary-Algonquin Rd., Cary, beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM and concluding with the Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, this will be followed with burial at Windridge Memorial Park.
