Bernice J. Berens, age 93 of Crystal Lake passed away June 2, 2021.  She was bornAugust 29, 1927 in Petaluma, CA., the daughter of Boyd and Johanna Meesenmburg.

       Bernice is survived by her children: Michael B. (Sandy) Berens, Linda M. (Bob) Burleson, Robert O. (Kathy) Berens and Christine L. (Terry) Kippley, her grandchildren:Carrie Mclaren, Amy (Chris) Click, Kyle (Anna) Berens, Ken Berens, Kurt Berens, Katie Kippley, Anna Kippley and John Kippley, her great grandchildren:  Oliver, Emmet and George.  She is preceded in death by her husband Michael P. Berens,a grandson Michael Berens as well as a sister Lucie Woelert.

      There will be a visitation for Bernice on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd., Cary beginning at 10:30 AM and concluding with a reflection and burial at 12:00 Noon.  In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to:  Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC.  28806.
