Ann M. Schatz, age 82 of Cary passed away March 11, 2017 at JourneyCare of Barrington. She was born August 25, 1934 in Chicago, the daughter of Michael and Mary Maniacek. Ann is survived by her husband Ernest Schatz, her children: Alan (Karen) Schatz and Susan (Michael) Fitzpatrick, her grandchildren: Dana Schatz, Derek Schatz, Michael Fitzpatrick, Emily Fitzpatrick and Colin Fitzpatrick, a sister - in-law Maryanne Maniacek as well as being a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Ann is preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Maniacek and Michael Maniacek. Visitation and Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 8901 Cary-Algonquin Rd., Cary. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ann M.
