Ann Catherine DeFrancisco passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7th, at the age of 89, surrounded by her family.
Ann was the beloved mother of eight children and a woman swept off her feet by her husband Jack, who proceeded her in death in 1975. She was a woman of dedicated faith with a deep relationship and love for God. New York Annie held her Staten Island accent all her life and it was apparent when she said she made her famous Christmas spaghetti sauce and meatballs in "Oct-toe-bah".
Ann spent the majority of her career as a corporate receptionist for Wells Manufacturing in Woodstock, IL. She was the first face visitors and employees would see, and had the effortless ability to make all who entered to feel welcome.
Ann is survived by Carol, James, Susan, Jack (Deceased), Mary, Laura (Mike Garver), Christine, and Robert. As well as six Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
Ann enjoyed a life full of love, laughter and selflessness. She will be with us forever and her presence in our world will be forever missed. She knew in faith that she would be walking peacefully with her husband and son, and as she went, those were her loving thoughts.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home in Cary on Friday, Nov 19th, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding with a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Animal House Shelter in Huntley, Il.
