Just after midnight, on October 25, 2023, our beloved son and brother, Aaron Charles Sell passed away at his childhood home in Lakemoor, Illinois. He was born on the 14th day of March, 1994, in Barrington, Illinois.
The son of Robert and Nancy Sell, Aaron was a proud member of the Sell family, including his brothers, Steven and Nathan, sister-in-law, Shannon, grandmother, Dolores, and his cherished daughter, Nya Lanway, whom he showered with unwavering love and affection whenever they were together, and she was always in his thoughts when they were not.
He took much joy in being an uncle to Kerrigan, Cassius, Magnus, Wesley, Freya, Leo, and Carmella Sell. Aaron always had a playful quality about himself and would love to joke and tease with his family and friends.
Throughout his adult life, Aaron demonstrated a dedicated work ethic, when he put his mind to it, and was well regarded by his boss and his co-workers. Aaron was remarkably intelligent, sociable, and observant, effortlessly creating almost instantaneous friendships wherever he went.
Although his life was tragically cut short due to drug addiction, we had many significant moments with him along the way. We will always remember him with a great depth of love in our hearts.
God bless you, Aaron Sell. Rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations go to Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cary, Illinois, where Aaron would occasionally attend with intentions to one day become a member of the congregation, or Rosecrance.Org, which provided him treatment for his addiction.
