Aaron Craig Holte, born April 5, 1960 in Tulsa, OK and passed away on May 21, 2021 in Bradenton, FL. He was the son of Allan and Louise (nee Malick) Holte. His most cherished role was being the father of Erik A. (Lori) Holte and Brett A. (Melissa) Holte.
He grew up in Streamwood, IL and spent his days playing baseball and basketball with family and friends. Aaron was a 1978 graduate of Larkin High School and moved to Sarasota shortly after graduation.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters and brother: Debra Bergman (Mike Crane), Ron (Judy) Holte, Kim Seaquist (Terry Skweres) and Adrienne (Roland) Baratta and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephew.
Aaron loved the Oklahoma Sooners, was an avid Cubs fan, baseball coach, constant jokester, and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a talented and creative craftsman, with a gift and passion for renovating homes, as well as working on various projects for friends and family.
He would make friends everywhere he went, from the Chili's restaurant to the employees at hardware stores.
Aaron is preceded in death by his father and sister, Maria Louise Flores.
There will be a memorial service for Aaron on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 11am - 1pm at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd, Cary, IL .
