Irene V. Gnat

IRENE V. GNAT Irene V. Gnat, age 88 of Cary passed away January 3, 2017 at her home. She was born May 9, 1928 in Chicago, the daughter of Ralph and Meta Klonowski. Irene is survived by her husband Stephen J. Gnat, her children: Christine (Salvatore) Errera, Judy (Paul) Bouschard, Marianne (Joseph) Lurie and Angela (James) Winstead as well as 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a sister Marie Kozial. Irene volunteered her time for many years at the Catch Penny of Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, she was also an usher at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Cary for more than 20 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, January 9th at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 410 First St., Cary and will be followed by burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
