Hermine A. Kohout

Hermine A. Kohout, age 95, was a lifelong resident of Fox River Grove passed away December 19, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospital. She was born March 27, 1921 in Chicago, the daughter of Jaroslav and Hermine Vajdik. Hermine is survived by her children: Karla August, Kurt (Lana) Kohout, Kerry (Robert) Stallard and Kent (Carol) Kohout, her grandchildren: Annie Steele, Bonnie Fries, Ben Brunette, Brett Kohout, Tyler Kohout, William Bauer, Charles Bauer, Adam Kohout, Michelle Clark, Jessica Ciotola and Libby Kohout as well as five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Kohout and a daughter Kyra Brunette. Hermine's parents opened the Fox River Grove Bakery in 1921, she worked a number of years in the candy kitchen at Bell's Apple Orchard and was also a member of the Fox River Grove Senior Citizens. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 beginning at 4:00 PM and concluding with a Service at 7:30 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.
