Eileen M. Boos

• Eileen M. Boos, (nee Kotlarz) 83, of Cary, IL passed away peacefully on January 11, 2018. Beloved wife of Richard for 61 years, loving mother of Susan (Mark) Kilayko, Michael (Patty) and Kimberly (David) McGreevy. Cherished grandmother (known as Buscia) of Caroline and Christopher Kilayko; Patrick, Rory, Owen and Emmet Boos; Matthew, Kate and Meredith McGreevy. Dear sister of Richard (Janet) Kotlarz and cousin of Marilyn Wielgos. Preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Lillian (Wojytnek) Kotlarz and brother Robert Kotlarz. Eileen met Dick Boos as teachers at Park School in Arlington Heights and were married across the street at Our Lady of the Wayside on June 15, 1957 before moving to Cary a few years later. Eileen was dedicated to teaching her students and "loving them up" over her 25 year career. Her smile and energy were always visible and lifted the spirits of anyone who came in contact with her.Eileen's recent passions revolved around her grandchildren and volunteering. She could always be spotted on the sidelines or in the stands cheering on her "favorite star". After her retirement, Eileen volunteered for 16 years at the Sparrow's Nest in Cary as a way of giving back to those in need. She loved the friends she made supporting a cause dear to her heart.Visitation will be at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home in Cary from 2-6pm on Sunday, January 14th. A funeral mass will be held on January 15th at 10:30am at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cary.
