Edward Francis Serowka

Edward Serowka, age 94 of Cary passed away November 9, 2017 at JourneyCare Hospice, Barrington. He was born March 22, 1923 in Chicago. Ed is survived by his children: Pat (Fritz) Ryser, Judy (Gene) Brown, Jim (JoAnne) Serowka and Bill (Diane) Serowka as well as 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a brother-in-law Edward Malicki. He is preceded in death by his wife Marvella Serowka, a son Ken Serowka, a sister Dorothy Malicki and a brother Bill (the late Virginia) Serowka. There will be a visitation for Ed on Monday, November 13, 2017 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 First St., Cary beginning at 9:30 AM and concluding with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM followed by burial at Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to JourneyCare Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
