Dennis James Jahnke

Dennis J. Jahnke, age 67 of Cary, passed away February 8, 2019 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born August 24, 1951 in Chicago, the son of Walter and Geraldine Jahnke. Dennis is survived by his wife Fran(Lang) Jahnke, his children: Jennifer (Kevin) Gray and Jeremy (Trisha) Jahnke, his grandchildren: Chase Gray, Pierce Gray, Charlotte Jahnke and Ellie Jahnke, his siblings: Craig (Karen) Jahnke, Nancy (Sam) Perricone, Lisa (Ralph) Imbo and Tracey (Mark) Waller as well as many nieces and nephews. Dennis served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was an Elder at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cary. He enjoyed hunting and tinkering with cars, but most of all, he loved being with his family. There will be visitation for Dennis on Friday, February 15, 2019, beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.
